BubblesBridge

The BubblesBridge is a simple pedestrian assembly bridge designed to connect high rise buildings at heights of around 15th floor. The bridge would operate best in low to normal windy cities.

Since the bridge is to be located pretty high above ground the following things were especially introduced -

1. The bridge was given a convex shape with greater bulge in the center. The center was deliberately made spaceous to give a sense of greater safety assurance and breathing space. This would help in alleviating the anxiety and fear in acro/claustro-phobics.

2. The passage floor, pathway has been provided elevation on the sides which again provides a sense of greater safety, prevents any accidentally fallen stuff to roll out of the bridge.

3. Metallic rails run throughout and on both sides of the passage providing greater safety.

4. Since the requirement is to have ample of natural light, the envelope/covering structure has been made using a combination of transluscent and transparent acrlics.

5. Metallic frame has a simple design and can be assembled on ground. The passage floor can be fitted on ground too. Then this structure can be raised and placed in between the buildings. The acrylic envelope/body can then be fitted once the structure is placed at the final location.
